Session Information
Studio Session
The session will be held at my home studio and will consist of candid and posed shots.
Typically a session lasts one to two hours. We will design your session specially for you during your pre session consultation via email or phone call.
I have a range of chairs, stools and props for you to choose from.
Location Session
The session will be held at a location of your choice and will consist of posed and un-posed shots.
Typically a location session lasts one to two hours. We will design your session specially for you during your pre session consultation.
As we are in Scotland and the weather can be unpredictable at times, we will assess the conditions on the day and if required, re-schedule for a close-by date in the future.
Newborn Session
The session will be held at my home studio and will consist of posed shots.
It is best for this session to take place in the first 2 weeks of babies arrival to get the curled up sleepy poses. I will however photograph a baby up to 12 weeks old but please bare in mind that baby is not as supple for curled up positions and a lot more alert than in the first 2 weeks, therefore baby is likely to be awake for most if not all of the session. Typically a session lasts 2 to 4 hours. This allows time to feed, change and soothe baby and sometimes they just want a cuddle from mummy or daddy. My number one priority throughout the session is to ensure that baby is safe and comfortable.
I am a proud member of BANPAS (Baby and Newborn Photography Association). I take the safety of your baby very seriously and have trained to make sure the images that I create are done safely. I never attempt a pose if parents are not comfortable with it and I never force a baby into a pose. I do ask a parent to assist and be my spotter for some poses during the session.
I have a range of props and outfits for you to choose from. We will discuss what props and positions you would like in the session.

Cake Smash Session
The session will be held at my home studio and will consist of candid and posed shots.
Typically a session lasts 1 to 2 hours. The first half of the session consists of the smashing of the cake and the second half is a splash in my little tub. This can be tailored to each individual child.
We will design your session specially for you during your pre session consultation via email or phone call.
The cake is not provided by Sweet Imaging, the client is to bring along the cake.
